Go Wild For Life is the slogan for this year’s World Environment Day (WED). WED has been celebrated among the corporates through eastern India’s only corporate environmental quiz. Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organised it’s 12th consecutive Green Biz Quiz, in association with Consultivo as its knowledge partner.
This quiz is also a pro-bono initiative of Consultivo as a part of their commitment to society and the environment.
Like every year, it welcomed different enthusiastic participants from eminent corporate houses like Berger Paints, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, SAIL, TCS, ITC Ltd.

Keynote address by Saikat Basu, Chief Mentor, Consultivo at the concluding session of Green Biz Quiz 2016
The event was graced by Mr Jonathan Ward, Principal Commercial Officer, U.S. Consulate General, Kolkata as the chief guest and Mr Andrew Ryan, General Services Officer. Mr Ward highlighted the Indo-US initiatives to combat illegal wildlife trade and appreciated the programme. Mr Souvik Banerjee, Adl. Director and Head, Economic Affairs and Policy, ICC expressed his deep gratitude to the participating industries and reiterated ICC’s commitment towards environment and society.
The main objective of the quiz is to spread awareness on corporate sustainability & environment protection. Eight teams qualified in the preliminaries and gave an encouraging competition in finals of 4 rounds.
In the concluding session, Saikat Basu, Chief Mentor, Consultivo congratulated all the participants for their brilliant performance and enthusiasm to support this noble initiative to spread environmental awareness& responsibility in the society. While citing different examples of global environmental initiatives & positive impacts, he urged to look beyond the industry boundaries and take further initiatives to save our one common home – mother earth.
