The “Green Biz Quiz” organized by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in association with Consultivo as its knowledge partner for the thirteenth consecutive year to commemorate the World Earth Day on 21 April 2017 at Kolkata. ‘Environmental and Climate Literacy’ is the theme for this year’s World Earth Day. This quiz is also a Pro-Bono Initiative of Consultivo as a part of their commitment to society and the environment.

The event was graced by Dr Kalyan Rudra Chairman, West Bengal Pollution Control Board as the chief guest and Mr Alok Mukherjee Chairman, Flakt India Limited expressed his deep gratitude to the participating industries and reiterated ICC’s commitment towards environment and society.
Over the years the quiz has created a high level of spirit among the industries and has also been instrumental in changing the perception of people regarding the environmental & sustainability stewardship of corporate bodies. This quiz provided the participants with an opportunity to experience the thrill and joy of sharing their green knowledge and views on the aspects of sustainability, environment, OHSE and the latest business opportunities emerging therein.
The main objective of the quiz is to spread awareness on corporate sustainability and environment protection. Eight teams qualified in the preliminaries and gave an encouraging competition in finals of 4 rounds. Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd. became the winner.
In the concluding session, Mr Saikat Basu, Chief Mentor, Consultivo congratulated all the participants for their brilliant performance and enthusiasm to support this noble initiative to spread environmental awareness and responsibility in the society.
