Training and Business Excellence – Thought leadership speech

ISTD organised Eastern Regional Conference on “Re-engineering Training & Development for Improving Bottom Line”, many professionals in different fields participated, the session Consultivo Thought Leadership initiative was part of it.

Consultivo’s CEO & Chief Mentor, Saikat Basu was one of the speakers at the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) 4th East Regional Conference 2017. Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) – Kolkata Chapter organised its 4th ISTD Eastern Regional Conference on the Theme “Re-engineering Training & Development for Improving Bottom Line” at Kolkata on 24 – 25 March 2017 at the Mini Auditorium, Science City.

Around 300 HR professionals, academicians, line managers, trainers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, B-school students and professionals in different fields of business/industry participated in this Regional Conference. This event saw the presence from Government of West Bengal by Mr Partha Chatterjee, MIC, Departments of Higher Education and Mr Moloy Ghatak, MIC Department of Labour.

 

Consultivo Thought Leadership

 

CEO & Chief Mentor of Consultivo, Saikat Basu gave a presentation on the topic, ‘Breakthrough for Business Excellence through Training’. This session was a part of Consultivo Thought Leadership initiative and saw participation by other speakers like Mr M.K. Barman, E.D, IISCO Steel Plant (SAIL), Dr S. K. Singh, Regional Vice President (East) Tata Steel Ltd, Dr Prem Saran, IAS (Retd) and Mr Rahul Bose, IBM.

The conference had interesting discussions on topics like ‘Training young minds for Start-Ups & Entrepreneurship’, ‘Leading high performing organisations’, ‘Innovative HR strategies for attracting, shaping and retaining talent’, ‘The HR challenges of building a World class enterprise’ & various other topics.
