The ICC-Consultivo knowledge report on “DOING WELL BY DOING GOOD – Mapping the CSR Space in India” was unveiled at the first ever Social Impact Award & Summit by Kaushik Sinha (VP & Head CSR, Magma Fincorp Ltd.), Saikat Basu (CEO & Chief Mentor, Consultivo), Ashwini Saxena (Chief Operation Officer, JSW Foundation), Naresh Tyagi (Chief Sustainability Officer, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd.), Anurag Pratap (Digital Inclusion Leader, Capegemini India), Rajiv Williams (Corporate Head – CSR, Jindal Stainless Ltd. Group) on 11 January 2019 at The Park Hotel, Kolkata.
This CSR summit is a flagship initiative of Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) with Consultivo as knowledge partner to recognize the excellence & contribution of the organisations in the sphere of social investment, CSR and sustainability for the year 2017-2018. (Check out the event)

The knowledge report on Mapping the CSR Space in India is based on the analysis study with the objective to understand the CSR space in India in terms of legislative compliance, developmental initiatives with reference to respective thematic areas and alignment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
This study analyses the aspects related to Corporate Social Responsibilities in India such as policy, committee, director’s reports, annual disclosure and spends of companies as on 31 March 2018. Various case studies have been discussed in the report which shows that the organizations are actively contributing towards India’s demographic social development by investing in CSR which is a part of inclusive growth, both for the organisation and the society.
he key intention is to encourage social & sustainable development through knowledge & learning. The ICC Social Impact Award & Summit provided a platform for both knowledge sharing and engaging with the Corporates, NGOs and Implementing Agencies in order to recognize & encourage them for the exemplary work done in their respective fields of operation through CSR Projects at a pan India level.
