Consultivo Academy conducted a one-day ‘Environment Awareness Training Programme’ in the Aditya Birla group of companies. The main objective was to spread awareness and encourage people to be more responsible towards our environment.
This environment awareness training programme by Consultivo Academy also included an environment awareness quiz to engage and encourage people to re-establish their environmental connect.
Our trainer N C Banerjee, Senior Consultant, Consultivo started with an ice-breaking session where the participants introduced themselves and their idea about environment & its importance.
The participants included the managers, supervisors, asst. managers and workmen from various departments like Warehouse, Kiln, HRT, Shaping, sorting, Slip house, Cementing, Testing, etc of the factory.
The training session concluded with an environment awareness quiz session, a pro bono initiative by Consultivo to spread environmental awareness among the people & industries.
The training was mainly conducted in two sessions, the first one highlighting the basic knowledge & overview about environment & the related terms & concepts, sources of pollution in Industry and the means of minimising its impact while the second session highlighted the employee role in environment management and the cause-impact of their activities.
It was an interactive training programme by our trainer where he discussed various examples & case studies from the industry to help the participants relate and understand in a better way. The participants were also quite intrigued to know more about the environmental hazards & its control measures. They discussed their queries with him which helped them to relate and identify the gaps in their activities at the factory which could be a major cause of pollution & hazardous risks. Necessary control measures & recommendations were also suggested.
The participants were divided into 5 teams and it was quite encouraging to see all of them participating with such enthusiasm & joy. They gave an encouraging & close competition to each other. Everyone was a winner here for such a noble cause and their keen participation.
It was an engaging session for the participants as they felt that this was a good learning experience for them and also helped them to retain their knowledge & learnings from the training session.
