Consultivo as the training partner of Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) conducted a ‘one-day training program on awareness and implementation of ISO 14001:2015 standard’ held on 29 July 2016 at Kolkata
The training program conducted by Consultivo aims at developing the knowledge and skills required to implement an ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) in industry. The comprehensive one-day course introduces corporates to the new ISO standard with high level structure for environment management system standards and explores the changes between ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 14001:2015.
Mr Nirmal C. Banerjee – Trainer (Managing Consultant, Consultivo) conducted the whole session and made the corporates identify the gaps in their current Environmental Management System (EMS) and plan their transition to the revised standard.
Mr Banerjee also gave a brief overview of ISO 14001:2015 standard and its scope to the organisations who haven’t applied for the ISO Certifications yet. With his hands-on industry experience of more than 35 years, he also summarised the implementation road map including risk assessment.
During the interaction session, the participants were asked to identify their own context and stakeholders with respect to EMS. They shared their own experiences & issues related to the standard.
The training session was attended by enthusiastic participants from eminent corporate houses like CESC, Balmer Lawrie, ITC Ltd, Coal India and Berger Paints, etc.
