Every year, there are thousands of accidents involving transport in the workplace.

Many of these result in people being killed. The main causes of injury are people falling off vehicles or being struck or crushed by them.

Consultivo has been entrusted by an international cement producing organisation to conduct a thorough research and study on their transportation vehicle movements and to find out specific gaps against the global good practices of logistics safety.

Based on the research and study, Consultivo has developed a uniform protocol for safe transportation, assessed the gaps in the existing system through in-bound and out-bound logistics Safety Audit with customised recommendations and helped the customer to formulate tangible and result-driven action plans.

As a result of this project, the organisation was able to know and measure their current level of logistics safety, and could reduce the incidents considerably through the systematic implementation of the action plans.

Consultivo worked on four fundamental elements of logistics/vehicular movement safety – the System, Route, Vehicle and Driver.
